Iran movie receives SIFF Best Actress Award

Iran movie receives Salento International Film Festival's Best Actress Award.

Iranian short Film ‘Cold Breath’ has succeeded to receive Best Actress Award from the 14th edition of Salento International Film Festival in Italy.

Iranian actress Bita Badran played the main female role at ‘Cold Breath’ and succeeded to receive the Best Actress Award from the 14th edition of the Italian festival.

‘Cold Breath’ co-directed by Hamidreza Jahanian and Abbas Raziji has attended more than 50 international film festivals all around the world.

The movie narrates the story of Maryam who has passed thirty and the hardship she faces every day.

Founded in 2004 and set in Salento, The Salento International Film Festival has always represented a  melting pot of cultures and traditions .

The festival  is totally dedicated to Independent productions.The Salento International Film Festival has become an International event with lovely “touring” concept, which started with film screenings in London at the Prince Charles Cinema (the only independent cinema in Central London) back in 2010. Since then SIFF Tour has presented many independent films around the world in cities like Zurich, Moscow, St Petersburg, Hong Kong, Santiago del Chile, Yerevan and more porary cultural  expressions.
